We are excited to announce three executive appointments as we continue to grow our Voyager team: Phil De Sousa as Chief Financial Officer, Abby Dickes as Chief Marketing Officer and Ashley Donlon as Chief Human Resources Officer.

Phil De Sousa, Voyager’s Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for Voyager’s global financial management and accounting organization. As Voyager accelerates toward its strategic ambitions and growth goals, De Sousa will be critical in leading our financing, investor relations, M&A and business development transactions.  As a seasoned financial executive and leader, Phil has led large finance organizations and brings more than 20 years capital markets experience. He is skilled at identifying performance challenges and formulating financial measurements and infrastructure to provide critical insights on profitability and cash flow to stakeholders. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Transamerican Auto Parts, a business unit within Polaris Inc., a Fortune 500 company. Phil led all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, strategic investment, capital management, and financial performance in Polaris’ largest finance and accounting organization. This included $3B+ for operations finance in manufacturing, logistics and supply chain finance and engineering activities.  Prior to joining Polaris, Phil spent six years as Vice President, Director of Investor Relations at Xylem Inc, a $5B industry leading water technology manufacturer, leading its spin-off from ITT Corporation and building a global investor relations program from inception. Prior to Xylem’s spin-off from ITT, Phil served as the Manager, Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis, managing combined segment revenues of $5 billion. He oversaw corporate and regulatory financial reporting for the $11 billion global high technology, engineering, and industrial manufacturing company. He also worked for Arthur Andersen LLP and is a New York State licensed CPA.

As Chief Marketing Officer, Abby Dickes will drive Voyager’s marketing, brand, and communications strategy, Dickes has managed complex corporate communications and innovative marketing campaigns within the commercial space industry throughout her career and has deep experience working closely with a broad range of customers and space-users, from startups to international space agencies. Prior to joining Voyager, Abby was the manager of U.S. government marketing and communications at Maxar Technologies for the company’s civil and national security space infrastructure portfolio. Abby also previously served as the director of marketing, communications and special events for Nanoracks LLC, now a Voyager operating company, where she grew the brand substantially during her tenure.

Ashley Donlon will lead Voyager’s HR function as Chief Human Resources Officer with a focus on driving organizational performance by maximizing the value of human capital, championing Voyager’s values and culture and maturing HR fundamentals across the enterprise. Ashley brings 15+ years of human resource leadership experience to Voyager, with diverse experience across commercial industries and organizational landscapes, primarily within large public companies such as General Mills and Polaris Inc. She is experienced at developing human capital strategies that are aligned to business goals and objectives. Most recently, Ashley was the Chief Human Resources Officer at Transamerican Auto Parts, where she played a key role through the complex divestiture and subsequent integration of the business under new ownership.

With the era of commercial space upon us, Voyager is strategically positioned to be at the epicenter of innovation and progress. These additions to the executive team will help expand Voyager’s vision, business, and brand visibility globally as we embark on what’s next.
